Radish is a plant which can be planted from its roots. The root should be at least one inch and can be obtained from a radish plant using a kitchen knife. The root can be planted in a raised bed or in-ground bed.
Obtain your radish root. Get a germination gel and cover the whole cut surface of the radish root using your fingers while spreading the gel over the surface evenly.
Get a sunny spot. Afterwards, dig two inches hole in the soil and place the root end into the hole. Once that is done, cover the hole with the soil.
Dig a row of radish and keep two inches distance between holes in which you are going to plant radish. If you would be digging another row, take proper care and ensure to space at least 10 inches between the rows.
Your radish should mature within a month and can then be harvested. However, if the temperature is less than 50°F, then it might take up to 50 days to mature. Once your radishes are mature, harvest them. You can also store them for future use.

Soil: Soil fertility is very essential in the growth of radishes including other plants. To grow your radish, ensure that the soil is fertile and well drained. Also the pH should be between 5.5- 6.8. You can also add in some compost.
Temperature and Sunlight: Radish requires nothing less than eight hours of sunlight each day. Avoid planting radishes in summer as the hot temperature can be unsuitable for them. Plant your radish in either spring or fall.
